	Listed below are the events occuring this year at Sir Sam's Ski Area. Keep an eye on this page, as new events will be added as we book them. This is the best place to keep tabs on what is happening here at Sir Sam's! Events & dates are subject to change and are weather permitting. Another good reason to check up often!
Ready, set, go! Skiers take off for Sir Sam's Ski Challenge

Saturday October 8th	Open House Noon - 4:00PM Scenic chairlift rides, food, and drinks. A special chance for non-skiers to see the outstanding view from the top. Great savings on lift tickets and seasons passes! $100 off an Adult Seasons Pass, $200 off a Family Seasons Pass, and $25 off a Book of Ten tickets
Saturday October 29th	Ski Swap 1:00PM - 4:00PM Sir Sam's Ski School will host their annual Ski Swap. Registration for selling equipment is from 8:00AM till Noon. Items will be up for sale from 1:00PM till 4:00PM. A great place to find a deal!
Saturday December 10th	Sir Sam's Ski Area Opens (Weather permitting, of course!)
Saturday January 14th	Registration for Sir Sam's Ski Challenge $1000 Grand Prize! Plus $3000 in other prizes to be won.
Sunday January 15th	1st Race of Sir Sam's Ski Challenge A total of eight races, held every Sunday at noon. Cash Prizes and medals awarded after each race. Three leagues to choose from. No entrance fee required!
Saturday February 4th	Retro Apres Ski and Dance Celebrating 40 years in business. Featurning Dave Bright, "Blast from the Past". $20 per person, with tickets available in advance.
Saturday February 4th	Hogtown Demo Day Stop by to try some of Hogtown's latest gear! Sponsored by Hogtown.
Saturday February 18th	Kenmark Demo Day Kenmark will be showing off some of their merchandise for two days. Come out and see what they have to offer.
Saturday February 18th	Community Living Fun Day Pledge forms can be picked up at the Community Living Office in Haliburton. There will be a silent auction, downhill activities, raffles, and snowball-oons!
Friday February 24th	Men's Day Free Ski Rentals! A great way to kick off the weekend! Ticket includes breakfast, a BBQ lunch, dinner, prizes, and a whole lot of fun! Tickets are limited, so book now! $125 per person.
Saturday February 25th	Global TV Day A day to meet and greet some of Global TV's finest personalities. There will also be ski and bike demos taking place that day.
Friday March 3rd	Ladies Day Free Ski Rentals! Who says the boys get all the fun? This time it's the ladies who get breakfast, a BBQ lunch, dinner, and prizes. Always a good time! Tickets are limited, so book now! $100 per person.
Saturday March 4th	Final Race of Sir Sam's Ski Challenge Grand prize will be awarded. You must ski the final race and at least three races in your series in order to qualify for the grand prize of $1000 or any of the other great prizes.
March 10th to March 19th	March Break! Will be open every single day! Don't forget to bring your sunscreen! Events include a deck BBQ and an ice cream sale. It's Spring Skiing at it's finest! A great time for the whole family!
Saturday March 11th	Sir Sam's Slopestyle Challenge Sponsored by BREEZ. This is our 3rd annual slopestyle challenge. This competition involves snowboarders skills on rails and boxes. Lots of prizes to give away!
Saturday March 25th	Spring Splash! A not to be missed "End of Season" event. There will be races, puddle jumping, and prizes! A fun event to participate in or to observe from the safety of the deck.
