Holiday Refresher

This holiday season treat yourself to a technique tune up. Two morning sessions of ski improvement that will set you up for success for the rest of your holiday. We are offering these novice or intermediate clinics on Dec. 27 & 28 for $79.

Heading for the Hills

Intermediate classes are divided according to ability. Now that you have achieved parallel skiing, polish your form by learning the most up to date skiing techniques. Tailored to your individual needs these classes will offer a challenge yet keep you in your comfort zone.

Performance Skiing - With Bill Lithgow & Rick Bartlett

Ski hard, ski fast, be challenged, and go for performance. This program is for people who already ski aggressively and want to improve on their technique and gain confidence. Groups will be divided by ability, and all groups will work on similar material as it pertains to the needs of each group. In January and February we are offering a 8 week program Saturday afternoons.

Snowboarding Programs:

Holiday Snowboard Camp

Our adult beginner 2 day snowboard camp is the best way to catch up to your kids. Learn the basics right up to riding the chair and linking turns. We are offering these beginner clinics on Dec. 27 & 28.

If you and your friends have a favourite Snow Pro and would like to get together for a specific program, day, or clinic, we would be happy to help. Drop by the snow school desk with your ideas. This is a deal for adults as well as youth who would like to do something a little more different than what we offer. Minimum group size of three. Cost depends on the groups requests.

Instructor Programs

CSIA / CASI Level 1

CSIA – Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance Level 1.
CASI – Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors Level I

Eligibility: Strong skier (15 yrs.) or snowboarder (16 yrs), minimum age at the time of the course. We recommend that anyone who registers for these courses first participate in the school as a volunteer, for two reasons:

  • First, to gain a better understanding of ski and snowboard teaching;
  • Second, to participate in our Ski and Snowboard School morning and afternoon training sessions.

Simply put, it is very difficult to attend the exams without preparing for them. The School would like to invite you to volunteer and gain the experience needed to be successful course candidate.
